There are three files here. two are jaws graphics definition files and one is the INI file for ventrilo with all settings done for ready use.

The most important action one has to take is putting the 3 files in their proper folders. After installing the ventrilo chat client (which can be downloaded from here

take the following steps.

  1. copy ventrilo.jfd and ventrilo.jff files to click board.
  2. go to start menu/programs/jaws (for jaws 6 and above)/explore jaws/explore my settings.
  3. paste the two files here i.e. in the enu folder.
  4. press back space 5 times in order to land in the application data folder and press "v" to get to the ventrilo folder. press enter to open the folder.
  5. copy ventrilo2.ini file to the clickboard and paste it in this ventrilo folder.
  6. now start ventrilo from the desktop. . press tab until you land in the user name combo box.
  7. the focus here would be on user1.
  8. press tab once and hit space bar on the user button.
  9. press tab twice and press enter on the clone button.
  10. type your prefered user name in the edit box and press enter.
  11. type the phonatic pronunciation if required and press enter.
  12. the focus should come back to the user button.
  13. press shift tab once and select your user name.
  14. press alt+o in order to connect to the server. you will hear a wave file followed by the announcement of the chat room which means that you have successfully connected to the sahaay IT server.
  15. press and hold the left control key while you talk and release it as soon as you have finished. please keep in mind that some of the rooms would be simplex channell rooms meaning only one can speak at a time. Like the cops speak on a walkie talkie. and the other party will not be able to speak unless you leave the control key.
